Book Group: Scared by The Bible

In preparation for our guest preacher Dr. Brandon Grafius, we will have a book group on his book Scared by the Bible: The Roots of Horror in Scripture. 

We will meet on Tuesdays (October 6, 13, 20) from 7 – 8 pm in the 2nd Floor Lounge. 

Dr. Grafius is a Hebrew Bible scholar who specializes in the uncomfortable stories found in scripture. His book offers interpretive tools to help us understand how these stories reflect humanity and our relationship with God. 

Each week we will read two chapters and discuss the fascinating paradigm being offered. Here's the reading schedule:
