Middle Hour: Learning from Horror

Dr. Brandon R. Grafius will join us on Sunday, October 25 as our guest preacher and to lead a Middle Hour discussion, “Learning from Horror – How the Bible uses horror to teach.” Dr. Grafius draws from his recent books to talk about the presence of horror in the Bible, and to suggest that it’s used as an intentional strategy. While sometimes the Bible uses horror as straightforward warning against unwanted behaviors, at other times it becomes a way to help us imagine new possibilities. His books are available in the GPMC library for people to enjoy.
