If you share an email address with your spouse or family, only one of you will have an account. For the best experience with Realm Connect, spouses should use different email addresses for login.

The app, Realm Connect – For Our Church, is available for both Apple and Android devices, and can be downloaded from your device’s app store. However, since our site is invite-only, you will create your account through an email invitation that loads in a web browser. Once you
have set up a password, you can log into the app.

Log in using your email address and password. To search for GPMC members in the Connect app, just click on the magnifying glass on the opening screen and type in the name you are searching for.

In order to be listed in the church directory, members must opt in through Realm Connect. Each member has control over what information is displayed in the directory. If you’re not seeing someone you think should be in there, let them know they need to update their privacy settings in Realm Connect.

To check your privacy settings, click on the arrow next to your name in the upper right corner of your screen (or “More” in the app). Then click on “Manage Privacy.” Click on the pencil icon to edit. We urge you to choose to share your contact information with “Anyone in the church.” This way, other Realm Connect users in the church will be able to see your email and home address, phone number, birthday (month and day only), marital status, and the names of members of your household. If you prefer to keep certain information private, you can customize your settings.

Your privacy is one of our greatest concerns. Realm Connect is only for the people at GPMC; it’s not like a social network open to everyone. Realm keeps your data safe and gives you control over what information you share and who can see it.

Realm is a private, password-protected system for members of our church community only. Depending on the privacy settings you choose, other Realm Connect users in the church will be able to see your email address, phone number, mailing address, and birthday (month and day only), marital status, some groups you belong to, and household members.

We encourage everyone to update their profiles when a change occurs. Please update your preferred phone number– for most, this will be your cell phone number. To see your personal information, click on the arrow next to your name in the upper right corner of your screen (or “More” in the app). Select “My Profile” to check the information about you. Click on “Edit Profile” to change any of this information.

By keeping your information current, you are helping our staff, group leaders, and our church community. Your Profile includes: contact information like address, email, phone number; photo; family members; and personal information, like your birthday (month and day only). *Note: Only staff with special permissions can view your full birth date.

To upload a photo from your computer, click on the circle containing your initials. You can also upload a photo using the Connect app. Just tap on the circle with your initials (or photo you wish to replace), and then tap the icon with the camera to take a photo or upload one from
your device. Headshots are best.

From the browser, click on your photo/name and go to “Notifications.” Or, from the app, tap “More,” your profile picture, and “Notification Settings.” Please do not unsubscribe from Realm email, but instead tailor your notifications for each of your groups. To modify notifications at the group level, select the group and choose from “Email” or “Push.” Please note that “Text” is not an option at this time.

If you would prefer to view a summary of your groups’ activities all in one place, deselect notifications for individual groups and choose to receive “Daily Digest” via Email or Push Notification.
